Evaluation Process for Speaker Submissions

Understanding how your submission will be evaluated is crucial for preparing a successful proposal. Our evaluation process ensures a comprehensive review of each submission, focusing on the quality and relevance of the content.

Topic Balance

We monitor the distribution of topics across various categories to ensure a well-rounded agenda. If certain categories are underrepresented, we actively seek additional submissions from the community to maintain a balanced representation of products and topics.

Category Variety

We aim for diversity within each category. While everyone has a preferred product or area of expertise, we encourage submissions that explore a wide array of options. Our primary focus is on How-To guides and practical solutions rather than introductory product sessions, which are often covered in other community and product-led events.

Anonymous Content Evaluation

To ensure unbiased selection, each submission is reviewed anonymously by the event’s leadership team. The evaluation focuses on:

  • Theme: The central idea and its alignment with the event’s mission.
  • Relevance: How pertinent the topic is to the current needs and interests of the audience.
  • Uniqueness: The distinctiveness of the session and its potential to offer new insights or approaches.
  • Audience Interest: Why the topic would engage and benefit the audience.
  • Presenter Expertise: The submitter’s knowledge and experience related to the topic, ensuring a good match between the content and its presenter.

Panel Discussions – An Exception

Panel discussions are an exception to the anonymous review process. These sessions are designed to feature domain Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) from Salesforce, MuleSoft, and Tableau discussing specific topics. Therefore, panelists are selected based on their expertise and ability to provide comprehensive insights, ensuring high-quality discussions.

Speaker Policy & Guidelines

To ensure a successful and impactful event for our Trailblazer Community, all potential speakers must agree to the following terms and conditions within five business days of receiving their invitation. Compliance with these guidelines is essential for inclusion in the official event agenda.

TermDescription

Early submission allows us to distribute digital versions of all conference materials to attendees in advance, enhancing the overall experience and engagement during the event.
Copyright ReleaseBy accepting the invitation to speak, you agree to the following copyright and reproduction terms: 1. The copyright for original presentation material remains with the speaker. 2. The event organizer is granted the right to record, reproduce, and distribute the presentation in various forms, including but not limited to printed materials, conference websites, and audio/video recordings (both digital and analog). These rights are granted without any royalties or fees payable to the speaker.
RecordingsThe event organizer may record sessions in whole or in part. These recordings may be made available to attendees post-event or used for promotional purposes. Speakers are required to use a microphone during their presentation to ensure accessibility for all attendees, including those with hearing impairments.
No Sales PitchesOur community events are designed for learning and engagement, not sales. Speakers are expected to provide valuable insights and knowledge without making sales pitches for their own or any third party’s company, products, or services. Exceptions are made for explicitly sponsored presentations. Violation of this policy may result in exclusion from future events.
Legal and Financial ApprovalBy accepting the invitation to speak, you confirm that you have obtained all necessary legal and financial permissions to present your material under these terms. Your presentation must not infringe upon the rights of any third party. If you are awaiting approval, please accept the invitation conditionally and specify any restrictions or pending approval timelines in the provided comments field.
